What grillz actually cost in London in 2026
TL;DR
Custom grillz in London start from £70 per tooth for sterling silver and rise with karat and stone choice, with 18K gold and natural diamond sets reaching £775 per tooth. A set's total price is simply the per-tooth price multiplied by how many teeth you cover, and turnaround is 5–10 working days for plain metal or 10–15 working days once gold casting or stone setting is involved.
Why there's no single "grillz price"
Every enquiry we get in London starts with some version of the same question: how much do grillz cost? There isn't one answer, because a single plain silver cap and a fully iced eight-tooth 18K set are entirely different pieces of jewellery, made from different amounts of different materials with very different amounts of hand-setting time behind them.
What we can do is lay out exactly how the price is built, per tooth, so you can work out your own number before you ever send us a message.
Per-tooth prices
Every set we make is priced per tooth, then multiplied by the number of teeth you want covered. These are the current per-tooth prices:
- Silver — £70 per tooth
- Dental gold / chrome — £90 per tooth
- 9K gold — £220 per tooth
- 14K gold — £300 per tooth
- 18K gold — £400 per tooth
- Silver + VVS moissanite — £130 per tooth
- Silver + VVS lab diamond — £165 per tooth
- 9K gold + moissanite — £300 per tooth
- 9K gold + VS lab diamond — £390 per tooth
- 9K gold + natural VS diamond — £560 per tooth
- 14K gold + VVS lab diamond — £475 per tooth
- 14K gold + natural VS diamond — £650 per tooth
- 18K gold + VVS lab diamond — £600 per tooth
- 18K gold + natural VS diamond — £775 per tooth
Working out a set total
A single top-tooth cap in 9K gold is £220. A six-tooth top set in the same metal is £220 × 6 = £1,320. The same six teeth in 14K lab diamond-set gold would be £475 × 6 = £2,850. White, yellow and rose gold cost the same at the same karat, so colour is a free choice once you've picked metal and karat.
A deposit is taken before we cast anything, and the balance is settled once your set is ready. There's nothing else added on top of the per-tooth figure — the quote you're given is the quote you pay.
What actually moves the price
Three decisions account for almost the entire cost of a set: the metal, the karat, and whether — and how — stones are set.
- Metal and karat: silver is priced mainly on labour, gold is priced on labour plus the metal itself, so higher karats cost more for the same shape.
- Tooth count: more teeth means more metal and more casting and fitting time, so cost scales roughly in a straight line with the number of teeth covered.
- Stone type and setting: moissanite and lab diamonds cost less than natural diamonds of equivalent clarity, and a fully iced face takes longer to set by hand than a few accent stones.
Turnaround
Plain metal sets — silver, dental gold and chrome — are usually ready in 5–10 working days from your mould being taken. Gold casting and any stone setting adds time, so gold and stone-set sets typically take 10–15 working days. We'll confirm a realistic date once we've seen your mould and confirmed the design.
Questions people ask
How much do grillz cost for one tooth in London?
A single tooth starts at £70 for sterling silver. Gold starts at £220 per tooth for 9K, and stone-set single teeth range from £130 (silver with VVS moissanite) up to £775 (18K with a natural VS diamond).
Is the price per tooth or per set?
Prices are quoted per tooth. A set's total is the per-tooth price multiplied by the number of teeth you want covered — there's no separate set-up fee on top.
Does gold colour affect the price?
No. White, yellow and rose gold cost the same at the same karat, so you can choose colour freely once you've settled on metal and karat.
Do you charge a deposit?
Yes, a deposit is taken before casting begins, with the balance due once your set is ready to collect or post.
