About Grillz London
Grillz London offers removable, made-to-mould grillz for London and UK customers, with studio visits by appointment at 493 Cambridge Heath Road, London E2 9BU. Silver starts at £70 per tooth; plain metal takes 5–10 working days and gold or stone-set work 10–15 working days once the mould, design and deposit are confirmed.
The business behind your set
Grillz London is the business you contact to discuss your design, arrange the mould stage and request a quote for your finished jewellery. The aim is a removable piece shaped around your own teeth, rather than a generic cap bought in a standard size. Our published studio address gives you a clear place to plan an appointment; it is not an invitation to arrive without a booking.
Who will handle your particular casting or stone setting is a sensible question before commissioning custom work. Ask us to identify the maker responsible for your order and explain which stages they carry out. This page does not claim a named founder, in-house dental laboratory, professional registration or workshop accreditation that has not been verified. Jewellery making and dental treatment are different activities: clinical advice belongs with a suitably registered dental professional.
From a drawing to a removable piece
A design begins with the teeth you want covered and the visual effect you want to achieve. One cap, a matched pair, an open-face outline and a broader row all frame a smile differently. A reference picture is useful for describing a silhouette or finish, but it cannot determine the shape of your own teeth. The mould supplies that individual information; the approved design supplies the appearance.
Before casting, the coverage, material and any stones need to be agreed against a usable mould. A deposit is taken before that work starts. Casting produces the metal form, followed by finishing and polishing; stone-set work adds the setting stage. The quoted production window is not a promise that an enquiry, a postal round trip and fabrication will all finish inside the same period. Tell us about any deadline before you commit.
The finished grillz remain removable. Do not glue them in, file a tooth to make room, or bend a cap to force the fit. If a piece feels tight, loose or uncomfortable, stop wearing it and contact us. Pain, bleeding, decay, gum problems or questions about existing dental work need a dentist's assessment, not an adjustment made at home.
Materials, sourcing and the questions to ask
The menu includes silver, dental gold / chrome, and 9K, 14K and 18K gold. Yellow, white and rose gold have the same price at a given karat. Stone options include moissanite, lab-grown diamond and natural diamond in the combinations listed on the prices page. A colour name alone does not prove a metal's gold content: dental gold / chrome is a separate menu category and should not be mistaken for a karat-gold specification.
A meaningful material description identifies what is actually supplied. Before ordering, ask for the alloy specification, gold fineness where relevant, whether any surface treatment is used, and a clear distinction between moissanite, laboratory-grown diamond and mined diamond. If metal sensitivity is a concern, ask about alloy ingredients and discuss suitability with your dentist. Higher gold content does not, by itself, establish that an alloy is appropriate for you.
Supplier identities, mine origin, recycled content and environmental certifications have not been published here. We do not label a stone conflict-free, claim recycled gold, or imply a certified supply chain without supporting documentation. If traceability is important to your purchase, request the available evidence for the particular materials in your quote before paying the deposit. Laboratory-grown describes how a diamond formed; it is not an automatic guarantee about the energy used or every step of its supply chain.
UK hallmarking: fineness is not the whole mark
UK hallmarking rules protect buyers when an article is described as a precious metal. Gold articles above the 1g exemption weight and silver articles above 7.78g generally require a recognised hallmark, subject to the law's other exemptions. Whether a particular cap or connected set needs hallmarking depends on the finished article and the applicable rules; counting teeth is not a substitute for checking its weight and construction.
A complete UK hallmark includes a sponsor's mark, a fineness mark and an Assay Office mark. A lone 375, 585 or 750 stamp describes gold fineness but is not, by itself, the complete independent hallmark. Ask what marks or documentation will accompany your piece, whether an exemption applies and how any required assay will be arranged. We do not claim Assay Office membership, a registered sponsor's mark or a blanket exemption for grillz.
Appointments and contact
Our studio is at 493 Cambridge Heath Road, London E2 9BU. Confirm a time through the booking form or contact@grillzlondon.co.uk before travelling. Customers from all 32 London boroughs and the City of London can plan a studio appointment; a postal mould kit offers another route for UK customers who do not want to make the journey. Ask about kit arrangements, suitability and return instructions before using one.
Give us your preferred tooth coverage, metal, stones and any reference images with your enquiry. If you are still exploring the design, the Design Studio can help organise your ideas into a written brief. Its output is a starting point for discussion, not clinical advice, a confirmed booking or permission to begin casting. The final specification and quote are agreed with the business.
